The Floratory is seeking an Experienced Floral Designer to join our creative team. This role is perfect for someone who already understands the mechanics of floral design and is ready to step into a fast-paced, design-forward environment where quality, care, and artistry matter.
What You’ll Be Doing
Designing floral arrangements for daily orders, weddings, events, and sympathy work
Interpreting design recipes and also creating custom designs when needed
Processing and caring for fresh flowers and greenery to maintain quality and longevity
Executing designs efficiently while maintaining a high-end, polished look
Assisting with wedding and event prep, setup, and occasional teardown
Collaborating with the team to meet deadlines during busy seasons (yes, Valentine’s Day is intense—but we survive it together)
Maintaining a clean, organized design space
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of professional floral design experience (shop or event work preferred)
Strong knowledge of flower varieties, mechanics, and proper care techniques
Ability to design independently and follow established recipes and brand style
Comfortable working on your feet and lifting buckets, containers, and arrangements
Reliable, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
A positive attitude and team-first mindset
Schedule Details
Full-time or part-time options available
Weekdays with some Saturdays required
Hours increase during holidays and wedding season
