One day, she mentioned to her mother - the general manager of The Floratory - that she feels like a scientist in her floral work. Thus "The Floratory" was born, the combination of "story" and "laboratory," as envisioned by Lindsey's mother. The moniker was perfect, capturing the essence of what they do and forever preserving the family's ingenuity in the name.
